FAO has just opened a 'Call for Expressions of Interest' for a junior consultant to work in the FAO Research and Extension Unit (AGDR) in Rome. The consultant will contribute to the preparation of the 1st FAO International Symposium on Innovation for Small Holders and Family Farmers and the proposed FAO Regional Meeting on “Agricultural Biotechnologies in Sustainable Food Systems and Nutrition” in Latin America and Caribbean".
Minimum Requirements are:
•University degree in agriculture/science/communication or related field.
•From 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in an agriculture-related field.
•Working knowledge of English, and limited knowledge (level B) of French or Spanish
Working knowledge of Spanish would be considered an asset
