Commercial egg producers have large machines to help them wash, sanitize, candle, weigh, and package the large volume of eggs they produce. Backyard flock owners can hand wash the few eggs they produce each day. If you have a large volume of eggs to process, but not enough to purchase one of those large commercial machines, what are your options? Claudia Dunkley from the University of Georgia will discuss the best management practices (BMPs) for egg processing when you have flocks of less than 3000 hens.
